Changed my mind:
Legend's system got boring after a while.
My answer is Yes. I would like a ring inventory were you can select options, weapons, medipacks and artifacts collected.
What about you?

Its a remake of the classic..... Infinite backpack IS the classic...
Remove it, and a LOT of fans will be unhappy...
And I say that whole-heartedly...
Itd be like removing the whole concept of locks and keys..

(Plus, it seems Laras backpack in Legend was infinite anyway....just where exactly did she but that shield she found in Kazachstaan? hehe)

yes I would, infact I would want this game to be the complete opposite of TR:L, infact, if they release a trailer which shows SPINNING TARGETS, PRESSURE POINTS, ZIP AND ALLISTER, NEW MANSION, SUPER ACTION SEQUENCES, BLACK OUT DEATHS, etc... I will not buy this. I'm deffo. not buying TR8, But I think a TR remake would be ok.

Here's my view why "YES":
In previous TR games you found your weapons and you kept hold of them, developing a special 'relationship' with them if you will, knowing what's best for taking out certain enemies.
In legend you get a couple of weapons, and you'll use it for a few minutes before picking up another one. < No thank you, I'd rather 'know' what I'm using instead of having a 'quick fling' with them, if you get me.
To be perfectly honest, I only like the idea of carrying one weapon at a time. I don't mind if you can carry 100000000000 medipacks though :p

If it makes a difference, YES. But in most TR situations any gun would do--the standard pistols would do. The speargun was the only weapon I can remember that was absolutely necessary in a specific situation (underwater).

I think CD should do what they did in legend only that you can hold three weapons and you keep them throughout the game especally since there are only really 2 people running after you! But to keep all happy there should be an extra to play the game in original form or at least make single extras like:
I want to have legend controls, and ulimated back pack or I want original controls and legend inventory or you could just go totally old school!

I disliked the way the inventory was handled in Tomb Raider Legend. The unrealistic approach never hindered my enjoyment of gameplay.

The reason why I want to carry only one weapon at a time, cause I always end up with a bunch of weapons at the end with a bunch of ammo, and never actually used it.

Lara is already powerful in TRL with the piostols alone.
Anyway, I prefer doing acrobatic melee attacks so I don't wanna see Lara to be that powered up.
Although initially (in the old TR games), it was fun seeing Lara blast enemy to bits with her more powerful weapons, It doesn't have an enduring fun factor in my opinion. Plus, I feel awkward seeing Lara carrying a 20 pound or so rocket launcher.
It's melee for me.

I hated the fact that once you picked up a gun you were stuck with it until you found another, even if it was out of ammo.

Yes but this is a remake of tomb raider one....not three
And the majority of advisaries in the original are animals....so i dont youll be performing bullet time melee attacks off the back of a wolf...
Unless as I have stated previously, CD introduce a bazillion clonal mercs and destroy the enitre feel of the classic. WHich.,..im telling you will NOT go down well with the fans of the classics....
I feel combat that you mension should be left for TR8....why risk messing up a classic and enduring a greater backlash than the one they encountered with Legend....

defintley think at least with the remake you should have an extra option once you beat it to either have unlimited or legend inventory! I think the legend inventory in the Remake would defintely make the game a bit harder especially since you'll only have 3 medipaks at a time, and two maybe three weapons I think it would make you conserve your ammo more be more tactical with your pistols like splinter cell so that you don't waste your shotgun or uzis on wolves instead of atlantians later in the game! All I can say is they should have the same amount of or a little less of ammo around levels but defintley less medi packs even than the original. I have like 14 total medi packs right now and I am at the collesum, I would like 25 or so but I used 10 in St. Francis Folly in Neptune because there was a glare on the TV and I couldn't see where the underwater leveler was! So even the original had too many medi packs I know legend did!

because i like to collect things!!! ammo, medi packs!! It really naffed me off when i couldn't pick up a medi pack and then miles away I would be really wishing i could have used the thing!
Collecting stuff was cool and part of the TR thing...and i dont mean rewards to get 'outfits' I mean i dont care what she's wearing I want to choose my weapon thanks!!

YES!But keep that unlimited backpack just for remakes,for continuation of Legend,please keep Legend(limited backpack):)
