Do you think Load screens should go!? I sure do i think it is totally original playstation! I think that once you are done with a level that it shows you the statistic screen and other things like that! When that is happening the other level should be loading behind it so that once you go exit the menu you are at the next level with no loading! Even at the main menu I wouldn't mind loading, but Jak II and 3 has no loading time and even from the main menu! It is a really amazing looking game! I know CD could some how either shorten load times to a second. or totatlly get rid of it! Its time for CD to see the future!
If the remake has loading times, but I shouldn't expect it on TR 8 or PS3!

Fairly indiffernt really! I didn't dislike the pics of the loading screens, but the load times sometimes annoyed me.
They did serve a purpose in my mind though: in TR1 if I was getting too over the top and trying frantically to do a series of trap evading events, then dying, the load screens gave me time to calm down before doing it again ;)

No, I want to keep the load screens, the Legend ones were fine, they weren't long at all, and it gives you time to cool down, take time out from a hard trap like Rivendell said, and it breaks up the game a little. Plus I like looking at all the pretty pictures :)

TR1 had load screens? Some day, I will have to play one of the console versions of that game…
In my opinion, load screens are a necessary evil. If Crystal Dynamics can create a game that doesn't require long loading times, the sooner they are gone, the better. If the games require some and they look good, it's nice, but the best thing would be having none.

Exactly, your adventure should be if anything minimally interrupted!

I am of the opposite opinion. If I die in a game, most of the time I already have an idea why I screwed up, and I want to try the idea right away! The best thing is to just hit quickload and hop right back into the game, as if nothing happened. :D
So if there is a way to get rid of loading screens, I vote against them. Maybe the original screens should be unlockable or something... :)
