No! No! No!!! This is a scam! Don't do anything. Report the seller to eBay. I had the same problem when I tried to sell a Nokia phone.

jaroro. If you never do anything else in your life, trust me on this one. This is a scam. If you can, use an escrow service, otherwise NEVER EVER send this laptop until you have the money in your BANK ACCOUNT, forget about whether it's in your PAYPAL account or not. That makes no difference. They could still have used bent credit cards, which PAYPAL will not honour.

I would imagine you will get a LOT of fraudulent buyers when trying to sell this item. Beware!

Got an email like that...after foolishly giving my email address on a website! Now the spam bots keep sending me crap like that.

'You've won...blah blah!'

or

'Please give your details so that we could send you....'

whatever!

Don't even read it...just ignore it! :)

Same thing happened to us when my dad tried to sell a Plasma TV, cause we got an even bigger one :) Anyways, when he tried to sell it, the lady said "Send it to blah blah blah but I'll pay for it..." And we almost got scammed out of a Plasma. I think the lady went to jail after we sued her pants off, because she made the mistake of giving us her address.

Maybe you can go to the bank and see if it's really there, the money I mean.

That is in NO WAY official. It doesn't look official at all to me, and the wording is atrocious. I don't think the FBI would contact a Mexican citizen anyway. They're trying to scare you into sending this item.

Going back to what TLR said, just report this person to EBay and let them handle it. You never have to ship an item to anyone if you don't already have their money. You are completely in the right on this one.
