Hi!
This competition is simple all you need to do, is use an image editer
paint/photoshop/PSP etc, to edit a pic of a celeb you like and then
make them look like an ALIEN!
RULES!
Only one entry PP
max size 800 heigh 600 width
must be a celeb!
The Comp Will Run Until 9.00 25th June 9.00 PM

Maybe you are taking it too literally, just a little.
Are you going to comment how the beach setting is a metaphor for their divorce, or perhaps they are going to walk her into the sea to drown, like a greek tragedy. Perhaps there are echoes of macbeth?

Mattster's pictures are often very much like what caricaturist in newspapers do. It kind of is the nature of this genre to be a little blunt and offensive. But I don't really think Matt meant to seriously insult anyone. Being in the spotlight, like Aniston and the Jolie-Pitts, means to become the subject of caricatures. Yes, it's sometimes cruel, but it's the very real downside of being famous. And pics like Matt does are meant to cause controversy (whether he intends that or not). So I think it's your right to disagree just as much as it is his right to do the caricature and the right of others who find it funny. Don't fight over it, people.
The criticism should rather be directed at a more ethical level to provide a discussion on how far the exploitment of celebreties should go, but I think that's a little too much for the Fan Artwork section. ;)

Nah, just kidding. :D ;) It's not that hard to do this kind of retouching of a picture, actually - provided you have a decent photoediting software. I use "PhotoImpact XL", which works quite fine for this purpose, but I think any software with a cloning tool would do. That tool is the most important, because that is what I do. I select two pictures and clone one into the other. Only partially, of course, and very carefully because it looks unnatural very quickly if you work too careless. Then I play around with the colours until it looks fine. With some practise it's not hard to do. I don't even work with different layers.
If you're interested to learn more, I can try and make a tutorial to give you a better impression of what I'm doing. Just tell me. :)
