I'm like that too. The bad thing is my mother frequently leaves the house so when she gets back she's always slamming the door with her knuckles like a maniac. I'm always like "Please woman get a doorbell install and take your keys with you as well!" :hea:

I guess it is kind of weird... I mean, it's loud and obnoxious, and you don't really expect it. Unless you're psychic like me. ;)

The little apartment I live in doesn't have a doorbell, so If I hear one, I'm always surprised! :p

 Wow, you're psychic!? You learn something new everyday! Can you tell me what numbers are going to come out for the Virginia Lottery? :p

our door bell sounds like a buzzer type thing. it's a bit different from most door bells... if you are sitting near the buzzer when someone rings it is really loud, so sometimes I do get scared! lol

EDIT: haha, i guess you could have just read that in Egyptiangal's post... :whi:

The doorbell is going to ring... ...now!

*Silence*.

Oh wait, wait... n...n...now!

*Still silence*.

Well it doesn't work when people are watching!
