Here are the choices.

1. Batman (1966) The campy adaptation starring Adam West. Still a very enjoyable film.

2. Batman (1989) A darker approach. Jack Nicholson is the Joker and Michael Keaton is the caped crusader. The best in my opinion

3. Batman Returns (1992) Even darker than the original. With Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny DeVito. A brilliant film, only just beaten by Batman 89.

4. Batman Forever (1995) The campness of the 60's film returns, but it's not a bad film.

5. Batman and Robin (1997) Considered one of the worst films of all time.

6. Batman Begins. (2005) The film that resurrected the series. Starring Christian Bale.

I've seen about an hour of Begins but I'll say Begins, Batman (1989) and Returns (if I can choose more than one :D).

You only watched an hour and you still knew the "nice coat" line... impressive.

I love Batman Returns. Michael Keaton is a very interesting choice for batman and he does well in the role. Tim Burton is one of my favorite directors. The Penguin and Catwoman are great villains!
I saw Batman Begins over the holidays. I really loved it! Except Katie Holmes' character. She was a cliche and a waste of space. Appart from that: a fantastic film! :tmb:

Batman and Robin sucked hard!! I only watch it to ridicule it and shout abuse at Batgirl. I hated her.
'I go to Oxbridge'
Then why are you still wearing a school uniform you moron?!
And then she tries to hack into Alfred's computer. Her first guess at a password is 'Alfred'. OMG! Moron!!

The 1989 version ("Batman")

Batman Begins a close second

Can't stand all the others. They're rubbish.

- Batman Begins (that's my Dark Knight!)
- Batman (1989) (Good. Not as corny as the other ones)
- Batman Returns (Catwoman - 'nuff said. The rest... meh)

Oh yes! I loved the 1960s Batman. I used to watch repeats of it when I was a kid. It's hillarious! :D

A quote from the 60s Batman series:

Batman: We'll take the table by the window. We don't want to look inconspicuous.

And the Penguin's plan to trap Batman:
Lure Batman to the boat, get him to stand on a special pressure pad, which shoots him up through the open window into the ocean, where the penguin's mechanical octopus will electricute him! :D LOL!

begins is far and away the best film of the series. tim burton's 1989 batman was solid, but all of the others were crap.

Batman (1989) for me
Batman and Robin should have been run over by a steamroller and renamed 'Flatman and Ribbon'

Tim Burton had the best feel on the Batman Movies IMO. I know he was a small part in Batman Returns but I'd really like to see Christopher Walken comeback AS Batman, regardless of director that would be the best Batman movie.

BATMAN RETURNS!!! That is one of my favourite movies EVER - how can you not love the scene where they're dancing, when they discover who each other really is? Also, it had the coolest characters.
