Yay, I got to see the movie this evening, ex-cel-lent! Angelina is looking gorgeous, of course, and her new boy (way hotter than Kurtis, ladies!) is smashing, albeit a little um, evil.

Now, as I was watching this movie, awed by all the spiffy graphics and moves and such, I couldn't help but ask my best bud, "Why can't I do that in the game?" Ahh, like when she wrestles the shark or when she flys off the building... omg imagine doing that in AOD! I know that the makers of Angel of Darkness don't want to tie the movie into the game much at all, but it would be great if they would at least pay attention to the things the public likes most about the film and add some of them to the game. It's nice giving Lara new moves in the game, like backflipping off a ledge, but that's useless and I think that being able to vault with a huge bamboo pole is way more cool and useful!

Well, what do you guys think? Would you want to play a Tomb Raider where you spend part of the time in the custody of the baddies, maybe solving puzzels without your guns and having to rely more heavily on thinking skills and physical combat? What about having us actually find the treasures? It'd be a lot harder, both to play and to program, but imagine how much fun it could be!

i always thought that too, so i was really happy when they out the combat opion in AOD, but there is so much more they could make her do in the next game, even re-use old stuff like motobikes and speed boats but upgrade it as they have all these new opions for the PS2, they could make her backflips a bit more handstand like, things like that it would make the game cooler.
