i liked the ending.. but at the same time i thought it was really sad... but Lara does what she has to do, and doesn't let anyone get in her way or slow her down. and yes, she does deserve someone better.. i didn't really like that guy.

i knew terry would die, but he deserved it! he said that Pandora's Box was his reward?! i would've thought Lara would be his reward

but yeah im glad she killed the SOB http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

i thought the ending was pretty good, driving off into the sunset and all.

the movie was good. but the only thing i didnt like about it was that Lara had another person next to her. Usually in the game she is solo. I think that she should be by herself. Thats my opinion.

Why didn't that guy shot the bad scientist when he had the perfect chance? I can't see any excuse for that!

I'm glad he died... Lara is a solo chick. Terry was a weak character soaking up too much screen time and not worthy of Lara. I wish he would of died a more dramatic / grizzly death.... maybe set up an AOD type movie sequel.

i thought the way he died was perfect, cuz lara was upset to kill him, so it wouldve been bad if they made him died all dramatic and what not. the falling down slowly was perfect http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Yes the ending was fine, what I was trying to say is they could of used Terry's death to set up an AOD type movie sequel if Lara would of deliberately killed him... (not been forced too) maybe let him fall into the acid or something. That's "if" they want to go the AOD route (since there will be at least 2 more games based on AOD).

Personally I like classic Lara.

It was the perfect end to the movie, after all the action we get a suspensful climax, and just when you think its over Terry stands in Lara's way.

A sad but clever ending to an exellent movie!!

i totally enjoyed the ending...it showed that Lara is still strong on her own....and she doesnt need someone to bring her down like that. she did the right thing..she so powerful. I totally enjoyed the ending..its to bad that Terry had to be all greedy like that...

I thought the ending was one of the high points of the film.

the ending was definetly a shocker. Better than the first movie's ending. And Terry was a sort of interesting character, but in the end, was consumed by greed that led to his ultimate demise. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

I didn't like the ending. I mean, Terry is cool and all, but Lara shouldn't shoot him! He should have opened Pandora's Box, then died a really grisly death! That way, if he died because of Pandora's Box, it would be a really good moral. The moral would be that greed dosen't pay. Also, while both the TR movie's were O.K., I think they both lacked that stellar 'somthing' that makes you want to see them again and again. The next movie needs to be directed and produced by Jerry Bruckhimer and Gore Verbinski (the guys who produced and directed Pirates Of The Carribean). I feel those two could really make a amazing icon of TR and Lara, which is somthing the previous TR movies directors didn't do.

IMO,the ending really wasn't about the box as much as it was about the resolution of Lara and Terry's relationship.

We never see or hear of her being tempted to use the box in any way,but we do see this tension between her and Terry and the recurring question of whether or not he would betray her again. So,I wasn't surprised(or disappointed)when no one opened the box, because that was never the point.

I thought that Lara nearly opening the box and shutting it back was a nice metaphor for her relationship with Terry.

Good ending! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I really liked the ending. I actually thought Terry came back to help Lara but when he started putting the box in his sack I knew Lara was going to stop him. :(
