As some of you know i was interviewed for a job about a week ago, for a customer relations officer for The Royal Bank of Scottland and i got declined.

After some poking around it was discovered the woman had mucked up my application, and i was invited down to London today to head office, for a private interview with one the directors.
Had to fill out a 40 something page application for, provide 6 forms of id and have a hour long interview... The guy said i interview very well, and despite ususaly writing within 3 days to give an offer, he wanted to offer me the job on the spot!!!!

Gave me a choice between " customer relations" in which id have a set contract, x hours on xxx days in one branch

or i could be an LFER which means i specify an area i am willing to work in, and i cover people who are ill, on holiday, maternity leave etc, but can specify specfically " this week i can only work xxx" " next week i cant work at all" "the week after i can work all the hours under the sun" and they fit in around me, if i choose to work out of my "designated area" they will also pay all of my travel ( if they want me to go to london for the day for example, they will send a car to pick me up, or pay for first class train travel) And this pays more than having a set contract( up to Ł9 an hour depending on the branch)

I chose the Second as i am at university so need flexible work, i also do alot of films and shows, and im starting to travel around the country with my friends from my car club, so need odd time off.

i am REALLY happy

That is wonderful. :D I thought getting a job was easy. :)

How much is the pay? (Sorry for asking!)

And is the work difficult?

Thanks.

pay will vary, but should be approx £7-£9 an hour, work will incvolve sorting the safe being a casheer answering phones, balencing tills etc.

No i cant tell them to sod off, i have to deal with them in a professional mannor, rectifing there problem, and then calling them a rude name once they are out of ear shot :)

i wont have ANY problems with the managment, despite not telling my dad i was applying there, and him having nothing to do with my application, once i start, people will be aware that my dad is the managing director, so anyone who gives me problems... BYE BYE!

NAah i cant do anything, i was only joking v4

i still have to follow the rules, my dad dosent work in the branches or anything, and i got the job on my own merits, i wouldnt go through all that if i wanted to run to daddy when things got tough...

I will be at university 3 days a week, and working three days a week, and having 1 day free, uni is 9-5, and work is 9-5 so it will be pretty much like having a full time job...
