Pathé Distribution Ltd. have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of Silent Hill for 21st August 2006 priced at £19.99. Christophe Gans’ (Brotherhood of the Wolf) feature film adaptation of the Konami videogame series comes to DVD complete with an extensive “making-of” featurette (running 55mins) comprised of details on casting, building the town, stars and stunts of the film and an in-depth examination of the creatures.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Silent Hill for 22nd August 2006 priced at $28.95 SRP. Christophe Gans’ (Brotherhood of the Wolf) feature film adaptation of the Konami videogame series comes to DVD in separate Widescreen and Full Screen editions with the following features:
