My vote: I'd like to see the braid back. In the second Tomb Raider Movie, it was cool to see Angie with her hair down, but never thought it would affect the games somehow.

I like both hairstyles, but they show Lara's transition in time. So, when we see the braid, we think of Classic Lara, but Lara has to move on with the times, and the ponytail is a much more modern hairstyle. So, for TR8 - the ponytail, and for remakes/flashbacks - the ponytail!

I prefer a braid. Braid is MORE modern then a ponytail. Ponytail's were invented way back before braids and plaits were. Ponytails are just for women who dont care. And seeming as Lara has a fringe, and is longer then shoulders length, she obviously cares for her hair. Lara's hair in legend didnt make sense to me, cause her ponytail was longer then what her hair was out. It should be the other way around! But, I would like to see her hair out, but better then the crappy block thingy in legend. It should be like EVA's hair from MGS3, except obviously longer, and brown ;)

Actually, it was a plait...but at that time, they couldnt have a plait, so they just gave her a bun. They gave her a plait in the film clips, cause they were able too hehe.

PS: Its a plait, not a braid! Braids dont have lacky's tied at the top of it, like plaits do. Plaits are more flimsy, just like Lara's hair in all of the tomb raiders. Braids dont move us much.

She didn't have a braid in TR1, but she did in TR2 and TR3, which are generally considered the "classic" games. And Lara has always been portrayed with a braid. The reason there was no in-game braid in TR1 is because they didn't have the graphical abilities to make one at the time.

Personal, I'm getting concerned over the form of Lara's arse. Legend Lara's derriere not as shapely as Classic Lara's one. And it wiggles about too much. Let's face it, when she's got her back to you for ninety percent of in-game time, it's important that they get these things right. ;)
