Those who loved the seemless blend of story and game in MGS would love these games. Ace Combat 5 and Zero have gone on top of my top 20 list. Both of the games offer everything that a player wants; Fast paced multiplayer action, Gripping story and out of this world graphics. Offcourse I recommend these to any who love flying virtual iron birds ;) Lol!
Ace Combat 5 and Zero offer pilots in their storyline with their own individual personality. Lol! My clan actually nicknamed one of our female members "Nagasi" since she couldn't stick to the plan and goes on a high speed death ride (naturally, one of us has to step in and save her :whi: Lol!)
Just watch the story trailers and you'll get what I am taking about ;).

I've played them both. :) They are pretty good games, but I didn't find the stories in them that great. Still, they are really good games though.
i got AC4 for christmas like...5 years ago, and i enjoyed it immensely. I've meant to buy AC5, but i never have money, and when i DO have money, i forget. I'll get it someday....

Give it a go :). Trust me, you'll love it (especially if you liked AC 4.)
man...as corny as this sounds....but have you ever tried playing it listening to the Top Gun soundtrack? its actually pretty cool......if you liked Top Gun, that is.
Ace Combat 4 is one of my most beloved games. Awesome story, soundtrack, and of course, the aircraft. I'm in the middle of playing AC Zero right now, but I keep getting shot down by this crazy heat ray. :hea:

One of my most favorite aircraft, the F-15. You guys have a few of them in the Saudi Airforce, don't ya?
Is the S-37 back in AC5/0? That was the plane i used the most in AC4...the black S-37.

Haven't unlocked it yet, but faced off against two. The AI of the fighters in that particular mission is a bit unforgiving; you HAVE to fly fast and make your shots count.

We play more than one game however. Then there are the usual friends that come over. Meh.
And graphic wise, they are almost the same. Zero offers a new breed of planes however.

Bought a heft load of em but they are the "B" and "C" variants, not the advanced "D" variant. As a multirole fighter, F-15 rocks anyone's socks, but overall in Dogfights.... errrr... I would give Credit to Russian designs like the Su-37s and the Mig-29.

bit of interesting trivia....the maiden flight of the F-15E Strike Eagle was on the day i was born.
