ok so waht i dont understand is that it is a technical demo? wut does that mean? lol this looks great compared to the ps1 FF VII game. imma go play it rite now!!!!!!!!! btw FFVII for ps1 is rare now? eb and gamestop told me that wen i asked if they had it. then my frend gave it to me for ummmm.........no reason!? he juss didnt want it! lol.
Looks good, but I don't care about a FFVII remake. To Me FF7 was a game that I only play once.
That is the tech demo, it's simply testing the capability of PS3.
It's not a remake.
The maker suggested he'd like to remake FF7 perhaps in a year or two when he has more time :)

Someone once said that in all likeliness, its really a matter of IF a FF7 remake is made, but WHEN.
But then i heard some of the ramifications of making an FF7 remake, and it would take a large team around 5 years to make a full remake
I really hope they do, though. Like whoa.

If I could ask for an FF remake, that would be FF8 or FF9 or both :p
But TR remade is my number one choice.
Man, would anyone else want to see a Parasite Eve remake?
I had typed all this before but then my internet screwed up and i lost everything i said. But here is how i would personally go about making a remake of parasite eve.
I would change it so that instead of happening in 1997, it happens in like...2009 or 2010 or something. I would add to the storyline so that more than one or two events happened in each of the 5 days during which the game takes place. It would still start on Christmas Eve of whatever year it would take place, and still include all of the prevoius events.
I would also add new areas, including an aquarium, which would have been built in the future as well, as presently i dont think there is an aquarium on the island of manhattan. The main character Aya would track Eve to the aquarium, where Eve would have super-evolved many species in the place, either giving them the ability to survive on land for periods of time, or flood certain areas that Aya would have to pass through.
I know this has nothing really to do with FF7, but all this talk about remakes got me going.
The boss for the aquarium would actually be an octopus and a box jellyfish, both being super-evolved, and much larger. The octopus would for all intents and purposes be invicincible, as destroying a limb would cause it to quickly respawn, and damaging the main body would also prove useless as the octopus would be able to quickly heal itself.
The jellyfish would now also be able to sustain its life on dry land, and would be almost invisible, resulting in almost every shot resulting in a miss. To defeat them both, you would have to somehow trick the two into attacking each other, where the octopus' strength would rip apart the jellyfish, and the jellyfish's poison would kill the octopus. Then Eve shows up, says how smart Aya is, something or another, and then escapes.
It sucks cause they were supposed to make a remake of PE, and there was news of it back when the PS2 was still in its infancy....but nothing since.
I know this has nothing to do with FF7, but all this talk about remakes got me going.

Isn't it in early works already? OR at least it will be as request is huge out there. (tho FF7 isn't quite playable in nowdays.. tried PC version ><)

well its an FMV, we have those graphics now, im not terribly impressed. Perhaps if that was an ingame scene I would be.
They better do a FFX remake! :D :D I will buy a PS3 just for that if they do.

Hm yes, it would be awesome and beautiful and stunning and such. I just don't see what all the fuzz about FFVII is... Sure, it's the most ground-breaking FF ever and insanely popular. But aren't all the sequels and prequels and a movie enough? :)
They better do a FFX remake! :D :D
