There will be a bit of profanity in the begining, but this is really worth the watch.

Yes... Those are actual moves without wires or any other assitance. Man... All I can say is wow. Now you know why elbow and knee strikes aren't allowed in professional sports; They can cripple a person for good.

There is a method used in matrial arts to focus your eyes in one direction so you don't get the sense of dizziness (works for me anyway.)

While doing a spin kick, you'll notice that martial artists, quickly snap their head right at the position at where they are kicking. It avoids dizziness.

BTW: Notice he takes on a Capoeirst :D. Maui Thai vs. Capoeira!

It came naturally to me, there are some kicks in taekwondo... which mean turning a full 360 degree turn to do a kick, then fully jump 360 straight afterwards and end on another kick. But lucky for me... i never had the problem with dizzyness.... i used to feel sorry for people.... especially when they were grading for there new belts... and they screwed the kick up and about fell over.

That's very cool. It kind of reminds of The Matrix.

They'll get used to it. Takes time.

Yeah, the signature Knee Blow. As I said, its why they are't allowed in professional competitions. However, ever heard of the style called Sambo? (More specifically, Commando Sambo.) That is one Cold and brutal style.

Wow, very cool. I wish I could do that! I always wanted to learn martial arts but never signed up for it. Watching this I wish I did!

Never too late :).

However, if you start young, you learn it quicker. Still recommend to give it a go though. Just... don't get carried away with a difficult style Lol! Start small and make you way big.

Never too late :)

Unfortunately it is. I had to have surgery on my right knee some years ago and have never been the same since. I can't do any sports that involve spontaneous movement any longer. Now I let Lara jump for me. :p

Sorry to hear that (I know the feeling too well; only in a different way.)

Hmmm, here take a look at this. This style more focuses on arm strength and stance :). It also helps you to relax and focus more.

Yeah, that's my sketch. :) And wow, Capoeira is way cool! I love how it looks as easy as dancing when in reality it's super hard. I saw a documentary on it, once, and in the end they showed kids in south america who were training for Capoeira and one thing they did was stand on their hands and then pick up a dollar bill from the street with their mouths. All whilst doing the handstand, off course! That really impressed me! They looked really tiny, yet such strength!

(Edit: wow, only two posts to go and I advance to, what? ... Historian? I think. I seem to have posted alot today. :D)

BTW: For those who didn't know; Brad Pitt uses the style called Combat Sambo in the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith against Angelina. Yeah... It kinda stuck out like a soar thumb to me Lol!

A demonstration of Mauy thai in its practical form. The clip shows the Mauy Thai champ Baukaw in his various fights.

Warning: Quite violent.
