Anyone like Advent Rising?

HOLY ****! Why is it that bad marketing always gets in the way of good games?

Anyway; People this has to be the best blend of live action/adventure since Prince of Persia. Take all the elements of successful game franchises (Halo, Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider) and combine them all togather with a character who can easily be defined as a demigod (Really recommend for those who loved BG&E as well.)

Won't kill the story line for you guys but the main character does have an older brother and a fiancee (those of us who are engaged would be chuckling away at her little remarks Lol!) There will be some tragic parts so tissue warning in advance to those amoung us who are sensitive to these things.

Finally for once a game that portrays humans as saviors, not engines of destruction. We ain't all that bad.

Really recommend this one.

OMG!! I absolutely love that game!!!! It has been my favorite since it came out a year ago! I didn’t know anyone else on here had played it! I’m obsessed with it! Lol The story is incredible and the gameplay is so varied and fun that the game stands alone IMO.

I played it on Xbox, but the PC version is good if you’re used to using the keyboard.

I absolutely recommend it Mel! It’s incredible!

We should start a thread for discussion on it, since it’s always fun to ask about you alls opinion on the game. I started on last year...go 0 replies haha...

Yah well Mr. Slowmo Cat had a bit of trouble aquiring the game Lol! Its a great one indeed. Just that bad marketing kinda killed any prospects for a sequel :( *Le Sigh.*

I know...the trilogy was cancelled and even the PSP game Advent Shadow...very sad...but it has become a cult hit, I mean the ones who like it REALLY like it...I've gotten a few people around here to play it, but it's kinda cruel to leave it hangin since know we'll never know what's to happen afterward...but I won't get into it, so Mel will enjoy it fully haha...

I know you'll love it! Probably the strongest game storywise I've ever played, and the Xbox version has lots of bugs but it's still my fav haha...so yup. :)

I actually found a lot in common with these 2 games haha...both were to be trilogies, both were cancelled, both were glitchy, and both are some of my favorite games haha...well, it's kinda a conceded view, but nonetheless...:p

DON'T even compare that thing to Advent Rising; There is no constest. Advent Rising' story was beautiful, and top it off, all of its secondary character could easily outdo that moot Kurtis in their sleep.

Heck Yes, Advent Rising was way better haha...too bad so many people judged the game before they actually played it...this was a case where critics decided the fate of a game...and it wasn't a good one either. :(

this is one of the few games that makes me want to hate the Game critics.

In all honesty they judged it somewhat fairly but the game had an essence to it that just draws u in from the get go.
