View Full Version : Cure for PSP analog stick
Here is a cure for the bad PSP analog stick.
Some people just hate the psp analog stick, because it is like a nub, and it is hard to move.
Some people get used to it very quickly.
Wouldn't play games like Legend be so much easier on the PSP if the analog stick was like a ps2 analog stick?

I was surfing the internet and I found this. You need to dissasemble your ps2 controler and take out the analog stick. Then implant it into your psp analog stick.
Would any of you guys try this?

It's kind of risky, I would try it if I had the money, but I don't.

I'm sure it's a practical improvement but it looks awful, ruins the whole look of the PSP..Isn't it a bit brutal to go chopping your PSP's nub off? ;)
He says that it looks and feels better, but he didnt mention whether the PSP can properly track the movement of the analogue stick :whi:
omg it looks revoltingly terrifyingly ****!

the PSP analogue is made like this on purpose. You can't stick it in your pocket and walk around with an anologue stick protruding from it. you'll damage it in no time.

Nope, I don't go disassemble any of my PlayStation equipment!
And I like my PSP;s analog stick very much (okay, a DualShock is better, but it's also about the size of a PSP)
If you don't like the way your PSp analog stick runs, take the pad off of it and use the small stick underneath. The pad comes on and off easily
