It would appear a Lara Croft-based comic, but I can't find record of it anywhere. (or at least, anywhere reputable)
Never seen it before. The artwork is stunning, very realistic. :)
Lara Croft!

To Elen.....Αυτη μοιαζει με σενα καλε!!!!!:D :D :D
Perhaps Mona will know, once she's some kind of expert on Lara's comics :).
Hmm looks as if it was made in 2004... maybe that helps... hey, how do we know its a comic? it might just be a pic someone made

I had a quick Google and found a item on eBay that is similar. It seems it's a poster, not a comic. Maybe this one is part of series? :)

Thanks Ampersand.
No probs. Though it seems the 'Tomb Raider: The Greatest Treasure of All' comics (about halfway down this page (http://www.topcow.com/store/home.php?cat=19&sort=productcode&sort_direction=0&page=10)) feature Lara and a lion. It's probably related to that. :)

This is sort of off-topic, but will anyone be buying this? http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_music_info&products_id=30850
I'll probably buy it.
Lol,Ampersand ,I found another comic presenting the same lion and a similar Lara: It's called "Tomb Raider vs the Wolf Man monster" and you can see a small image here :http://images.google.com/images?q=Tomb+Raider+Comics&ndsp=18&svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&start=126&sa=N
It's the 9th one.

I think it might be a werewolf and not a lion, and the art style is different. :D
Probably in a concept art.It seems to be a lion,or I wouldn't have posted it,lol :D! Actually, I've never seen such a Lara. I'll give a look at the tomb Raider deviant art group.
It's artwork from the comic book one shot - Tomb Raider: The Greatest Treasure of All
Here's a preview of the comic book:

I would've bought it, but the grotesque orange skin and overall depiction of Lara on the cover put me off!

EDIT: oops - I was too late, someone beat me to it! lol

Thats a really kool picture.
The lion is her puppet! Its a Lion King play!
BTW: the picture look similar, but they are unrelated. The coloring of her hair is different and the style of the drawing/coloring of the entire picture is differnt.

They ARE related - Lara is wearing the exact same outfit, she is accompanied by a lion, it is in the same style (with the orange skin and real-life look), and there is a Joe Jusko signature in the first pic - and Jusko was the artist for the Greatest Treasure of All comic... enough evidence for you? lol
EDIT: Catapharact, that is just an inked sketch by Andy Park, who pencilled a lot of the Tomb Raider comics (brilliantly!), and the DeviantArtist coloured it...
Seems no-one else has noticed the lit dynamite cord beneath the lion! :whi:

Either they are running on top of a cable, or it's supposed to show that the lion is explosive metaphorically.
Joe Jusko's official site (http://www.joejusko.com/). Didn't find more paitings of Lara there.
I like the idea of Lara having a pet lion in a future game...

but lara hates animals! she displays their heads in her home.
I like some of his pictures!
http://www.joejusko.com/Galleries/1adven/images500/Laramap.jpg
but def not this one!
http://www.joejusko.com/Galleries/1adven/images500/CoppertombPub.jpg
:vlol: That last one is awful.
I don't think Lara hates animals.... She admires the beasts but consideres herself a higher predator. :D
Maybe pet was the wrong word, a temporary level pal.
What is that alien thing supposed to be? A Chubacabra? Anyway, I don't like Joe Jusko's art - he depicts Lara too realistically, which is a bad thing IMO.
And, I believe Lara Croft respects animals, which is evident in Legend when she expresses remorse when killing them.
