Right so, heres the problem: The TR1 PC engine is great, but sometimes it lags, and the Playstation one is much better.

I tried copying all the files from a PS1 disc onto my PC, saving my level onto it, burning a new disc and then playing it.. of course, it didn't work. However, I thought it was worth a try.

With that aside.. is there some sort of converter? I want to play my levels on the playstation. Thankyou all in advance! :)

I don't think you can play custom levels on PS.

I think it would go something like this...

First you need a modified playstation or a developers model playstation(I think they are colored black).
That will allow you to play "silver discs".

Then you need to figure out the file format of the playstation levels at least..
If not the script format or any other strange files a playstation might use.

Then you need to create a Level Editor or at least create a converter like tom2pc but it will be tom2(whatever the playstation file format is).

So..You are going to need years of experience as a programmer. Then years of experience in "reverse engineering". Then years trying to make it work..

Then only you or someone else who owns one of those "Black" playstations can play your level! LOL!

You can try a psx emulator. I think the newer computers will be able to handle tombraider. I tried it once but I could not get tombraider 1 to work though. It is worth checking out! Try http://www.epsxe.com/

Check their forums for help and hints about it. I know that tr2-3 will run but I'm not 100% if tr1 works at all.
