Can you buy it on it's own? Or do you have to buy a special edition?

If you have the original TR1 cd, you can download and install it, it is a free add-on.
Download it HERE (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/tr1/gold/demo.html). The third from top.

Sorry! Edited. :o

It's an .hqx file, which works in Msc OS. And it has a "demo" in its name. ?

The version in the linked page is the MAC demo. You can find the full PC version in THIS PAGE (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/tr1/gold/demo.html). It's the first in the list. It's the full game, just needs the TR1 CD to run.

Nicky :wve:

Thanks, does it include all cutscenes and musics and stuff, or just the levels?

EDIT: What's the difference between the first three?

It includes everything, I guess :) I don't know how the original version was (that is, the one that originally came in the box), but as far as I know there are no cutscenes (like there aren't any in all gold expansions). All that is supposed to be there, is there tho :)

Not sure about the difference between the three versions, but I think it's something to do with graphic cards (not sure). But the most common version is the first one :)

@ Rivendell: you mean you can't run it at all? It gives you the error message as soon as you try to run it?

Yep as soon as. Weird.

For Glidos you must install the voodoo version.

Read more here. (http://www.glidos.net/install98.html?lang=en)

Sorry, did I get it right? Gold versions have no movie/cutscene/FMV? So who tells you the story and how are the levels connected? (I always thought my setups of gold versions are cutscene-removed, because they aren't original).

Oops double post.

Well I have the downloaded versions and they don't have any FMVs or cutscenes; but I'm pretty sure it's just the same for the versions that came in a box package along with the original games. As for the storyline, I guess it's explained on the box.

The only exception is the Times Exclusive TR Level, which features an introductory movie :)

Hi Clovex :wve: I wouldn't think so, because the expansion needs the original TR1 disk for PC in order to run.
