Does Lara move quicker on PC then PS?

Just a quickie Q! I was watching a speedrun done by MMAN2 on youtube, and i noticed that while she was shimmying across a gap, she seemed to move that big quicker? Is it me or has anyone else noticed this?

I have often thought the same I think everything on the PC version is a bit faster. I've never had the chance to compare side by side though.

the pc version runs at 60hz and the ps1 pal version is 50hz

TR I runs faster on PC, but the PS 1's framerate is more constant.

Hz = refresh rate of monitor.

If you are playing on the PAL (european) version movements are slower due to the 50hz thing (PC games don't have those issues), the NTSC version should run at the same speed as the PC one (assuming a constant framerate).

The timer on the PAL version is changed so that this slow down doesn't matter in terms of level completion time, although some copies are supposed to be bugged and give out the wrong times.

I was playing a demo of tr1 on my freinds laptop and it seemed that enemies died quicker than in the ps version i dont know if thats just me though
