thats a shame, its a great game, i only have it because my brother lets everything collect dust in his bedroom, you can still get the demo and frag.

I would but it would have to be someone with the demo to host. If I did, It would complain that you can't download a certain file and wont connect (because you are on the demo) :p

Anyway, who would like the idea of an actual official TRF frag match every week or so? If we could sort out dates and times for when it would be best for players to get in and I could try sorting out the hosting* if you wanted (may even be able to sort out a proper server* for the occasion).

*The hosting/server would be for people with the full version only though.

What do you think of the idea? If it was actually made official on the forums or whatever (depending on what the admin's think of the idea).

I've actually been planning to do something like this soon as I figure out how to get my puter to host. A weekly timetable of evening matches for anyone to join in. :tmb:

I've just started downloading the demo. I'm up for some Unreal deathmatch action, and I might well buy the full game if it's any good, it costs less than a tenner from Amazon now. I don't know how useful a host I would be, as I've only got a 1Mb broadband connection, but I'm more than happy to give it a try. Though right now I'm pretty concerned about my no0b status leading to my being majorly pwned :p :D

Edit - Guess I'm not going to be playing it anytime soon though, the estimated download time is at 5 hours and counting :(

Well, that was crap :mad: Got halfway through the download and it died on me. Just as well that I've ordered the full game from Amazon, and it should be here Monday :yah:

I really hope we can host a few TRF matches, it would be brilliant. I'll just need to put in some practice first :cln:
