View Full Version : Midas Palace (i forgot the way)!
Hello everyone ,
Since many years i never played tr1 , no i'm back , but on PC this time.
My problem :
I remember that i had the same problem before , i can't find the way in midas palace in the beginning , i went throught the door activated the lever , opened the garden's door , entered inside , went to the room where midas situate (nothing to do there) , went to the big room where there's 5 levers , but don't know the order....
So what should i do ?

Above each door in the room are 5 symbols which tell you how the switches need to be positioned to open that door. One of the symbols means a switch in the 'up' position and one means a switch in the 'down' position. Sorry I can't remember which symbol is which but I'll give you an example to show what I mean:
If '+' means an 'up' switch and '-' means a 'down' switch, something like this above the door:
- + + - -
would mean:
up-down-down-up-up
on the switches.
Hope that makes sense. If you play about with the switches a bit you should be able to work it out pretty quickly :wve:
sorry but i don't where are those doors which you talk about , i understood all the rest , just where are the doors ? :confused:
In the room with the 5 switches there are doors around the outside of the room, each one of those will have the symbols over them :)

Right now , i have only the pistols , i don't have the shotgun or magnum , i wonder if they are waiting for me , or too late i missed theme ! :confused:

You can pick them up more than once in the game, I think you would only have the shotgun now if you found every secret so far. You don't get the magnums until the end of Tomb of Tihocan (when you kill a certain someone :whi:) and you don't get the Uzis until the last couple of levels. So you haven't missed them yet :)

You can find the magnum in one of the secret places.it is behind one of the door(which can be opened with a well hidden lever) in the garden.

I thought you got the shotgun in the valley level, on a roof after beatin t-rex? And there is a weapon on top of a roof in the midas level too?

No there's isn't the shotgun in the lost valley , i went to this place , there's just the shells ;)
Actually near the dead skeleton there is a shotgun near the green area where the final secret is ya know the one near the cheese colored gate.

Finished the cistern without problem , now i'm in the tomb of tihocan , the same wads as the cistern :D

i thought so,.. the shotgun from the lost valley,... uhmm,.. yep i think so,.. and the midas palace is one of my favorites levels,.. full of herbs and animals hidden,.. also the hand that turns everything into gold,.. wow,.. and the levers puzzle,.. i love it,.. i didnt had any problem until i reach the fire,.. i had to take a whole life to get the thing at the end of it,.. i got in fire,.. and then i jumed back to the water with that thing and complettely burned,.. but,.. thanks god lara fix everything with a medi pack..;):)
