2 hours 39 minutes? That's not possible. What platform?
I can see you didn't complete everything. I always go to all the secrets, get all the pickups and kill everything.

How did you count your time? Is this the 'Time Taken' time? Then I may understand.

When you finish the game you should have you final status. I have only played the game once so my fasted time was 15 hours.

If you have played the game more then once then you should remember your quickest time of completing the game.

The fastest current time is around 1:55 (I don't know what the exact time is): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AJlID3LeiE is Caves and you should be able to follow on from that to the rest.

I just ran straight through the game. I didn't worry about the secrets or the kills.:)

I have a question: I have finished the game and still have the save, how can i find out my time?

I don't think I've ever done it in under 12, it's usually around 15 as I just love to muck about and explore, try and get to new areas. I've never sped through it to see how fast I could.

My usual completion time for this particular Tomb Raider is about 6-7 hours, I think. I'm not hugely interested in trying to better that.

I just added up the time for each level.

I usually try not to run through the levels as if my life is depending on it. I try to enjoy every last bit of it, so usually my fastest time would be about 7-8 hours or more.

(Try to run through it in 3 hours whilst getting all secrets and without using a med-pack :P )

2-3 hours is more realistic for Legends though.

mman, I was watching your videos of your speed run on youtube, I'm at the great pyramid video, whats up with the sound effects? In the beginning of it, it sounds like tomb raider 3.

To be honest. I think these sound effects, or music tracks if you will, ruin the PC version. I don't know what kind of music were/is on the PSX version, but the Saturn version has A LOT better music than the PC version. Saturn version actually has some music. Lots and lots of awesome, atmospheric orchestra / classical music in certain points in the game. For me, the game was creepy because there was no music or sfx going on all the time. The PC version just takes away that magic by playing the same "spooky" noises throughout the level. Quite stupid really. Guess they wanted to try something different with each version...
EDIT: Just saw a video of the PSX version, I think it has all the same music and plays it in the same points as on Saturn.

My best time is like...a month:p with on and off playing and killing everything and messing around.
I play for the fun of it, not to compete with timings.

Me either. (although I take longer than Scottlee) Its the journey, not the destination for me. Look around, smell the roses, so to speak!

Sorry, I don't think you can figure that out now. The only time you can see the time for an individual Level, is after you finished it. The end statistic is just the result of adding all the Leveltimes together.

If you really want to know the detailed times, you either replay the whole game or use some of the savegames from earlier levels.

I've won it three times, the first two on PC and I just completed the PSX version recently. My times were approximately 24 hours, 15 hours, and 10 hours (if I'm remembering correctly). I played the PSX version to experience the music. Having completed both versions, I prefer the PC one because I think it has better controls, saving system, and graphics, although I do wish it had the PSX music.

You are horribly slow man :D
Guess I should start doing my own speed runs on Saturn :cln:

I never understood why someone even does the speed runs. For me, tomb raider is a slow, adventure game and speed just ruins it.

However, 2:39 is really good time; congrats :tmb:

I partly agree, I like to do it as fast as possible but still collect and kill everything.
