Another TR freak challenge

Thats right its another TR freak challenge. This time it involves TR1. I've already completed tr1 without medipacks before so thats not the challenge. The challenge is to complete the entire game without using any weapons apart from against bosses. This is probably going to be my hardest challenge yet. Basicly I can only use weapons against Larson, Pierre, giant mutant thing in great pyramid and natla.

That's a cool challenge! It'd be quite tricky in the Atlantis levels / anywhere you need to be still while there's big leaping screaming monsters around you :tmb:

I'm up to the lost valley now. You know this challenge would be so much easier if I was playing on PC with a save anywhere feature.

I've tried this challenge, It went really well until I got into the mummies and the atlanteans - I had to start using pistols then it was just too much - especially when you have to shimmy and they are fireballing your ass!!

Did you read your PM Trfreak? definitely worth some consideration I think ;)

I've done lost valley now. And yes pete I did read it. Maybe once I've done TR1 I'll do that. I dont know where to download it or exactly what I have to download tho. You can PM me about it if you like.

I finished the game once with using pistols only. It was fairly easy, or so I remember.

Coolio...I did up to...the second Egypt level once with only pistols...then I thought...what the heck and got out me magnums!:D:D:D
But i've killed that big fat guy mutant with pistols...he's easy!

I've never really tried any challenges like this. Maybe I should give them a whirl.

I'm up to the colloseum now and I haven't used any weapons apart from against Larson and Pierre.

thats a nice challange,... in fact thats the way i always play or try to,... u see,.. i call myself an enviromentalist,.. i now im notm but anyway the point is that i always try to run the levels with out killing anyanimal unless i can go throu and in that case i kill them,.... the funny thing its that it all started when i finish playing tomb raider 3, and i wanted to have like in the 3rd part, a lot of bats in the tomb raider 1 cave,.. so i had no other choice but to run around collecting bats and not using pistols against the wolves, after all in tr1 the aiming is automatic and if u do not take care u can kill a bat really easely,.. so i stop using them and run around the level just letting the bats go closer to me and running again,... it was fun,... in the end not all of them manage to get to the end,.. but it was like a big bunch of flies over a cake,... all of them aorund me,.. and then tried to do the same in great wall,... but after the cliff no animal manage to get there,... so it was no fun,...
