I lift weights 5 times week! :D

I can bench press 175 pounds, which is pretty good considering I'm only 5'6" and weigh 146lbs! How much can you guys Bench Press? I know one guy at the gym I go to that does 300 pounds with ease.

Yes, I do

I use the gym most lunch times, I also have a gym at home.... dumbells up to 120lbs, barbells, a multigym, wall bags and kick bags.

I'm not well defined at all.... but (to give you some idea) I'm six foot with a 54" chest, a 19" neck, 24" thighs and 18" calves

I do a few hundred reps a day, 150 in the afternoon and 150 before I hit the sack at night. I switch between 20lb and 50lb bells. There's not much chance of me building huge arm or leg muscles because when you're cutting all day with cardio you're only going to burn up muscle with excess bulk work, which is detrimental to your health as well as your routine. As it stands I have 9% body fat, which is a little on the low side but good for mobility and fine if you maintain it without jumping up and down the scales.

I used to, along with being on my ROTC's Physical Training team in high school. I ran into an eating problem, however, and that severely limited what I could do for a while. I had started not too long ago, but it is hard to fit the gym in my schedule now; when I can I use my home equipement :wve:

:vlol: @ assasino and CA!

By the way, I don't lift weights. I'm not really on a routine, but I swim a lot. I'm in great shape, but I'm not muscular, nor do I want to be. Not that muscular women look bad, but it's not the look I want to achieve. I eat healthy foods and have never had a weight problem in my life, I see no need to lift weights lol.

I think lifting weights is great for men though. They don't have to look super buffed up or anything, but muscle tone just looks better imo.

Yeah, toned but not muscular.

Im on a 3 day split currently so for all you initiated that means different body parts every other day.

MON - Chest and Triceps
WED - Shoulders and Legs
FRI - Back and Biceps

My lats and also my shoulders grow very slowly though so i mix it up a little as i feel like it.

Man...i feel like im in the other forum i belong too :D

yeah...I have trouble with my shoulders too...they're one of my top priorities at the moment...I know a killer deltoid exercise that'll help you get out of your plateau.(if you have one)! :D

as for lats...try doin' pullups...nothin beats pull-ups buddy!!:tmb:

Yeah, you can do inverse pushes behind your neck with a bar but its never as good. Im still using upright rows and shoulder raises for my delts, they are just a lot slower. The odd thing is my back is the fastest growing area

I used to train 4-5 days a week. But now I can't train that intense, I'm suffering of a Patulous Eustachian Tube (pET) :(. Nonetheless, I try to exercise and my body still looks athletic.

what;s PET

azumi_mm

what;s PET

Patulous eustachian tube (pET): The eustachian tube stays open most of the time. The eustachian tube is a passageway from the back of the nose to the middle ear that may be opened or closed by action of a valve-like device. Under normal circumstances, it remains closed for most of the day, opening only on occasion to equalize air pressure in the middle ear and the exterior environment.

If the tube remains open, the patient complains of hearing one’s own voice or one’s breathing as too loud (autophony).

http://www.american-hearing.org/images/ear.jpg

It is very annoying! every breath is suffer. It feels like my eardrum will tear apart every second... my eustachian tube on the right side is destruct (always open).

Try to yawn + breath + speak and you will know how I feel.

Thank you both for your empathy. I will tell you how I got this annoying dysfunction.

My nose was closed up (some cold) and I tried to free it, by blowing my nose... thereby my eustachian tube (right side) got destructed. :(

No successful treatment so far. If I could go back in time... well, you can imagine. Never ever blow your nose forcefully !!! Just leave it alone, breath through your mouth, it will solves by itself.
