Really? I thought it was just called junk mail if you're sent 1, but then it's spam if it keeps happening?
Like on a forum - one post - fine. Multiple of the same thing = spam.

Well, this is obviously both spamming and advertising. And advertising viagra on a all-age forum isn't reeeaaaally appropriate.

According to the TRF-Terms and Cons, no advertising (advertising cheap products etc) is allowed, and neither is spamming (posting to increase post count).

Advertising is not always spam, and spam isn't always advertising. ;)

Spam : To indiscriminately send unsolicited, unwanted, irrelevant, or inappropriate messages, especially commercial advertising in mass quantities. Noun: electronic "junk mail".

Also,

Spam:To crash a program by overrunning a fixed-site buffer with excessively large input data. Also, to cause a person or newsgroup to be flooded with irrelevant or inappropriate messages.

No.
I think there was a thread that took ages for a Mod/Admin to close.

What is spam is when you members fill up these threads. Please resist the temptation in future and just ignore them.
