You may not have time to save things like Computers and video game systems... it takes time to unhook those things!

We had a fire in our apartment building and we threw our clothes on (it was very early Saturday morning) flipped the bed over to get our cat who was hiding under there (he was so scared), grabbed him and left... didn't save anything else. I had the presence of mind to close our door though, which saved us a lot of smoke damage (the fire never actually hit our apartment).

If your house was on fire and you were inside, believe me, you wouldn't think of saving anything. When I saw the fire in my house, the first and only thing I grabbed was my mobile phone, so I could call the fire department. Then I got the **** out of there. There was no time to think of getting my laptop, my CD's, my wallet, my cat etc. Nothing.

And I'm surprised that some of you said that you would get your PC. Until you unplug it, your ass will be ashes!
