The Empire Strikes Back.
Really?
I thought that was rather boring compared to the rest of them.

Haha, you're a rare one indeed, Tony. Never seen someone who prefers the new trilogy rather than the original ;)

I love them all, 'nuff said.

i also prefer the new 3 episodes, but just because of the modern special effects., but when i think on the saga, i never think in something like...hummm...episode 4,5 &6....or episodes 1,2 &3!, ai see them all as one!( i hope this is understenble for you;))

It's the most crucial of all the movies. I wouldn't expect a fan who prefers the latter trilogy to get it. :p

::nods:: Empire was definitely the best. While the new trilogy was entertaining in a way, I didn't like them at all. My reason for this is that George Lucas is a wonderful story teller but as a screenwriter and a director, he's mediocre at best.

None of them. Star Wars never grabbed me. I'm much more a Star Trek fan.

Star Wars and the Empire Strikes Back.

I haven't been able to watch any of the new one's all the way through yet. I just get bored. It seems to be filled with loads of, "Master...", "Yes young Jedi", "But..", "It is the way of the Jedi", "I...", "You must listen to the force and follow the code of Jedi" ... followed by innumerable zchwoooo, zchwoooo, zchwoooo laser light fights... and a plot about politics...yawn.

Nope.
I really like the original trilogy aswell.
I love Episode IV and VI.
I'm not just not a big fan of V.
Same with the new trilogy.
I like I and III but not to keen on II

Star Wars is my favourite.
Very closely followed by The Empire Strikes Back.

And not so closely followed by the others. Although I like all of them, Return of the Jedi is overrated.

BTW, is anybody getting the 2-disc DVD's released on Monday (Tuesday in the US.) They will include the original theatrical versions, never before released on DVD until now.

I like RotS best. It's a proper classical tragedy. And even thought the actors or their scripts weren't the best, the atmosphere of despair and helplessness in face of Evil is just fantastic.
And Ani is pure eye candy. :D

I know no true SW-fan will agree, but I'm not a true fan, so Episode 1: The Phantom Menace for me :tmb:
