I don't know about a 'macro' feature, just zoom.

Of course you can just zoom, but with the Macro function it'll be easier to focus on the object, and you can get closer which in this case means the background will usually be more blurred.

I love macro. My camera even has a Super Macro function :D

Nice pictures viper, Olympus cameras win :D

How did you get the wasp that close? Taken at a higher resolution and cropped?
That can't have been the full original picture without an extra macro lens... I think?

On a Sony Digital Cam it's a little flower symbol.

My digi's cheap and awful. I'm lucky if it can take a normal shot, let alone macro... :cln:

I do have a big film SLR that would be capable of some macro shots but I don't know how to use it.

Nikon. I've always had excellent results with their SLR's. here's some photos I show a few weeks ago, one of which has already been seen on the picture challenge thread.

I do, http://lavrenti.deviantart.com , but I don't update much... I have quite a few pictures I need to upload from my last holidays :p
You may find my general site, http://noctifer.net , a bit faster though the pictures on it aren't as large as on dA.

Thanks :D

Also: Minolta's camera department has been sold to Sony.
