I guess it just comes down to Tomb Raider isn't Supposed to be Realistic. That's how a T-Rex can be alive in the present.

as you know, tomb raider was allways somekind of "magical"...
natla became a monster.

It sure was considered a very realistic game back in the day. And it still has that great atmosphere which keeps me playing on and on.
I can except the existance of dinosaurs in games that are based in the present time, there should be more questions around the last two levels in TR!
At least you are finding them in a far and hidden away place deep in the Peruvian mountains.
In Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (game i'm playing these days) you can open a garage door (making a big noise!) while patrolling guards on the other side don't even notice. :cln: They walk on. Later when you put out the lights they suddenly react.
This i find weirder than fantasy.
