Do you think CD will change things in their AE to make it tie in with Legend?
If this happens, I will personally burn everything I own that is Tomb Raider related then hang myself from an oak over the fire. Cause, you know, if they ****-up a classic, then there's no point in living.
Well we do not know if the AE will even be a remake yet, and NONE of the original bio was relevant to the story anyway, so who cares if they use the new one

yer i sort of agree with you, if they make a game exsactly like the classic game, then you might aswell just play tomb raider 1, (it proberbly needs more than just better graphics to make it seem different.)

It's called sarcasm, look it up in a dictionary. I was simply mocking the large group of people that get this worked up over things like the bio and whathaveyou. I personally feel if CD was going to change the bio, since it really doesn't have strong rule in ANY of the past TR games, that it would be okay. However, I sincerly hope they don't tinker with the TR1 stroyline at all. It was simply, but compelling.

Well, a re-make is a re-make. So does it really matter what happens? The original is the original. So if you like Tomb Raider, enjoy the original.

If it's a remake, they should stick to the original storyline. Including Lara's bio, or at least what little of it was mentioned in the game.

I agree with Cat. Then again, I don't really care if the bio gets changed. If it will avoid a lot of people's confusion with Legend's bio and all, then so be it. However, it is the Anniversary Edition, so the original bio should be brought back.

Legend Lara is annoying. TR: Legend is annoying!
I hope they make the story interesting and similar to the one that it started with. In Legend, the story isn't changed, just revealed in a different way. I love Tomb Raider 1, but I don't hope they remake the exact same game; it has to be something new, maybe not in the story, but in the secret's she finds. If they just make the same game, it needs change some of the path’s she uses to find her way. I like the idea of the remake, but they need to update it, since it is a remake. ;)

Yes, I too hate the new bio. I hate what they made out of the heroine. She was my role model. Original she had a strong character. She did what she had to do and what was right for her, even if this meant to be disowned by her family and probably financial problems included. I liked her old house with a few furniture and her lonely lifestyle. She gave me strength to go my way, despite what my family or somebody else expected of me. Then because some director had fallen in love with Angelina Jolie or what ever, they adjusted Lara to Angelina Jolie and made of her a pampered rich girl with Daddy issues in this horrible movie. Before the Tombraidermovies Laras character was more complex. Now it's flat and boring. She's no longer the rebel but a good daughter following her Daddys footsteps with a lot of support paid by the inherited wealth. Plus they added in Tom Raider 7 Mommy issues. I don't think I'll buy Tomb Raider 8. The new Lara is fake as Angelia Jolie. What will they add in future, drug problems, Anorexia or Tatoos? When I want to have the Tomb Raider Feeling I play the Original with my Lara on the old PS.
The recent interview with CD (posted elsewhere on these boards, I think it was with 1UP?) was fairly clear that CD are not looking to throw Lara's early story away...so a new AE BIO looks unlikely you scaremonger ;)
