I wish there were that many PS3 units for the UK.

I have this feeling the Wii will have problems similar to the PS2 wireless controlers.

I don't have much faith in it lasting long. But heck, if it means more money for them because people will keep buying it after some months, then whatever!

I doubt it very much. Nintendo are very thorough in terms of their hardware. Also, they have been working on this project since the Gamecube came out. If there were problems they would delay it.
