Free High Quality Software

Hi there. Is there any free software, like Glidos, that plays the game, making it clear? I dont mind Glidos, but I dont want to pay the money when there could be something out there for free, and better. Can any of you guys help me out here? Thanks in advance.

Yes, there is DgVoodoo. I'm not too experienced with it, but you should read about the TR Advanced Installer (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/headlines2333.html), as well as any other info on Tombraiderchronicles.com involving playing TR1 on Windows XP (I assume that's what you're using).

DgVoodoo is free and included in the Tomb Raider Advanced Installer. Follow the TR1 instructions (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/faq/tr1.html)exactly.

Basically:

Install VDMSound 2.10, select all options (so: complete install).
Reboot PC!!!
Download and unzip (extract) TRAInstaller.
While having the TR1 CD in the drive with the lowest letter (if you have more than 1 player), run TRAInstaller to install:
select TR Original > yes to DgVoodoo > yes to let Installer configure VDMSound > IRQ 7 > yes to create shortcut(s) on desktop / watch out and select appropriate wether you have ATI or nVidia card > finish.Welcome to our forums mattlevs. :)
