How do i make a logo??

I dont know if i should post this here sorry if its in the wrong spot. Some one made a wallpaper for my game Quest for the Treasure. And I wanted to make some more and i wanted to know how to make a logo like this (http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f10/LillyBloom/Wallpapers/49kq1.jpg)

Is there a program i have to use or some thing? and where can i find this program. Cause i would really like to know how to make logos like that for some wallpapers, siggys, avatars, for my game. Can some one please tell me how i can make them?? :D

That is the PNG file of the Tomb Raider Logo
If u want just erase the Legend and replace it with w/e text u desire.

You will need some sort of editing softward, say like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro or GIMP

It looks cool but the title is very generic, maybe replace treasure with an actual artificat or one of your makings

Thanks glad you like it, im trying to make a wallpaper with the outfit i am using in the game but i am having a few problems trying to get it to look just right
