although in tr 1 she had a bun i can remember seeing one iname screen shot with her hair in a plat. it looked very good. but still it would of taken up to much meomry and it wouldnt make game smooth.;) did any one else see the picture.:) i forget where i seen it.:(

The only one I've seen is in the TRLE remakes where people have remade levels from TR1 on the TR4 engine with a new Lara model, therefore with the braid :tmb:
She only had a braid in the FMV's (and the loading screens), she did not have the braid in any of the in game scenes

That's right. She didn't have a braid in the game scenes. It's gotta be somewhere else you have seen it.
The game creators found it difficult to animate a ponytail back then, that's why it couldn't have been an in-game screenshot of TR1, or TR1 Gold for that matter.

Most likely the pic was specially done for a magazine then, because it would not have been an ingame screenshot

That is Lara from TR2 or it is a scene from TR2 even though I can't remember it. But that is Tomb Raider 2 Lara.

The scene seems to be an edited version of the TR1 scene where Lara is about to pick up the scion (the artifact she is after in TR1). But the model is the TR2 Lara.
