I've heard that Christipher Tolkien has finished and is going to publish a half finished book of his father, named the "Child of Urin" or something like that.

Does anyone know whether it's true? And if it is (which I really hope) is it going to be in an actual novel form or parts from Christopher and parts from Tolkien like the "Silmarillion" and the "Unfinished Tales"?

This truly made my day! J.R.R.TOLKIEN LIVES!

Hmm... I'm a bit sceptical about this. Mind you, I doubted Daniel Craig as Bond and after watching the latest trailer he doesn't suck as much as I thought he would, so I'll read this too.

Old news, but good news! :tmb: I have not heard of this till now!

Of course I'm one of the late-comers to the Tolkien fans. I haven't even finished reading the Return of the King :o But I just love the stories!

I'm looking forward to this. :jmp: I loved LOTR, the Hobbit and the Silmarillion, so this should be a good read. :)

Well,I've just heard of it.!

God,I decided to get unhooked from the LotR mania, and here it is again!
I'm going to buy it but I'm not going to read it this year, because if I do I'll get hooked again and believe me,it's quite unhealthy to be as obssesed as I used to be.

LotR, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion - all three VERY different books - and all by one genius of a man! He was one amazing writer, and I'm so glad he has a son who takes his father's work so seriously.

As for the new book, it's scheduled for publication on April 16th, 2007, according to Wikipedia. Really looking forward to it! :jmp:
