At the moment I am using Norton but my subscription runs out in 3 weeks.
David has been using PC-Cillin for years and has never encountered any problems with it.
He just renewed his subscription to THE NEWEST VERSION (http://shop.trendmicro.com/uk/) and can add 2 more PCs to it at no extra cost (which means, we could download it onto my PC as well)

Question: what do the "experts" ( = you) think of it? Is it worth going for it or should I stick with Norton?

Thanks for any advice.

I think it's fine, Gabi. And to add 2 extra PC's for free that's a pretty good service. :tmb:

And let's not forget that PC-Cillin offers a pretty good protection too :tmb:

Yeah, I have heard that PC-Chillin is meant to be good, but never tried it myself. I have never really been much of a fan of Norton, its such a memory-hog.

I personally use AVG Free Edition and ZoneAlarms firewall, and had no problems what so ever (plus they are both free).

I'm a believer in Computer Associates' eTrust EZ Antivirus, myself - but the free AVG Antivirus is pretty good, too. I installed it on my sister-in-law's computer when I upgraded it to WinXP/SP2.
