I don't mind if they use real instruments this time instead of a synthesizer, but the tune should be exactly the same as the original version of the theme in TR1. NOT another remix like the sequels had for their title screens where half the melody was changed.
Yes please! The original theme is classic and to this day is the best TR song ever.

Absolutely! I think they will actually use it with this game, for nostalgia's sake. They'd upset a lot of fans if they didn't.
oooooh... imagine flipping in the AE disc, aiting for the crappy loading screens and then....... you hear the ancient TR tune softly playing in the background, and then the intro screen appears!
god, that would be the awesomest ever!
even if the track is remixed, i wouldn't care, they need to have the classic TR theme to revive that TR feeling...

The same as the original except orchestral, make it subtle yet striking, that's what I loved about the original music. Ahh just imagining something like that would be truly amazing.

Nope, they recorded music on tape back in those days... computer based recording were only coming in to the recording studios back then.
synthesizer is not the same thing as computer (PC)

AoD had real instruments, a symphony orchestra, but i think every other game had synthesizer based music.

Yes please the original music for the AE.
I don't mind them remixing, but I hope they go careful. Don't overdo the orchestral bits, some of the beauty was in the particular way the music was presented.
Definitely No techno beats or arcade-y style music.
And also - I'm begging them, don't use CONTINOUS music. It kills the atmosphere.
I don't know, I would kind of like to see it replaced with a rap...:D
Joking. Of course, they should use the original theme, or one closely like it. And they should sneak "Venice Violins" in somewhere while they're at it.

CD would be really missing the boat if they did not use the original theme. I would like to see them update some of the sound effects. The repetitive clanging in the Cistern needs some variety. After awhile in TR1 you could detect a pattern and I often wondered if there was some coded message in it?
I'd tell you the coded secret but then it wouldn't be a secret any more and I'd have to kill you to keep it a secret... :mis:

Yes the original music should be THE music of the game, I would as like TR2 and 3 and also alot of Legends stuff. Because TR1 repeated alot of its music throughout the game, such as LOst Valley's ambience, ohhhhh creepy!

My Question should they get an all new Voice acting crew for the game, or use some Legend and new people!
I think they should use TR1 voice actors!
However, it's likely we'll have Keeley as Lara, though I hope they can get the same voices for Pierre, Larson and Natla!

The original TR1 theme is so haunting, so beautiful. The lone flute sounding at first with other instruments then joining in. I always shed a tear of nostalgia when listening to that. Yes to an unaltered TR1 theme. It's the least CD can do after messing TR up with TRL.
No thought goes into this one YES!
Oh you have to have the original music its un beatable. It sends shivers down my spine.

Even if the theme is new, the essence of TR1 theme (that is in every single main theme till TR6) should be present.

that would be a big YES!... the main theme its and it will be the relief in the tomb raider feelings,.. i remember i got so happy when i heard it getting out on the first tombs in TR4 just before the jeep chase,.. they played that theme andi knew the level was almost over, and that from then on,.. i was safe,... so peacefull and nice,..

and lots of classic music,.. it so nice when you hear classical music and in the same time you start kicking some butts..... like in venice.... whoa!!!! i thought in the movie angelina would also play some classical music while the house invasion, but bach was automaticaly shut down to hear some fat boy slim remix,... luckily in the second we have a little bit with the duet of flowers when she is kicking some allisters? butt too

i really miss those sounds,.. althou the main theme in legends was really nice, as much as the main theme in AOD... really good too,.. but the rest go kind of crappy,... i remember how much i love the music when fighting the first tiger in india,.. after the ball puzzle in the very begining...
