Try to be original and try not to use parts from other peoples covers or original Tomb Raider Covers
Allowed to edit remaining entries
Make it as real as possible :)---------------------------------------------------------------------
DON'T forget to link/credit orginal artwork's author if any used. (c) law.

Except any renders (images/artworks) created by eidos/core/crystal dynamics.

Lol cheers Badr! I made that myself - the background is one of my favourite creations. The sort of Rubbly wall texture with the Aztec/Mayan/Peruvian symbols carved into it I'm quite proud of!

@Rivendell: Wow! Those are great. I especially like the monkey-swing cover because it gives me the idea of all of the extra moves from TR2-5 being included in TRA (especially the monkey-swing and crawl, which really added to the exploration factor for me).

Lara has a manicure in this picture. The handle of a gun in her left hand looks too small - it fits exactly in it. Although it resembles the Desert Eagle pistol, which never had small handle.

It's definitely not a nude raider, no way. IF there would be involved an attractive male character, then mature edition would show more of mature/cut-out scenes and all that kept in a nice manner by leaving out any nasty taste :3 ...but you never know what eidos may come up with XD

that seems kinda messed up to me... i think if you're gonna have a contest for a cover... you should only use artwork that's credited as professional promotional pieces from eidos OR your own work ONLY. otherwise you're using someone else's amateur work to win your contest... they worked hard on their stuff and they're extremely talented. now you're just coming in and taking it. doesn't seem very fair to me. if... hypothetically... they came on this forum and wanted to use their work in their submission, they can't. why? cause you used it already. :/ this has happened to me, so i know the feeling.

emphasis on "stock images"... therefore it should be ok. if you by chance drew or rendered your own image, that's fine too... taking amateur work from deviantart and other places (whether you credit the artist or not) should be prohibited... it's just not fair... especially if you're completely talentless and their image is absolutely amazing... so easy to make your work look good in that aspect.

Thankyou Rivendell.;) I've always loved traditional methods of creativity such as painting & drawing, indeed I studied them. I also studied multimedia design so I love blending the two types of tools. I have my own work on deviantArt & other sites too. People have used my work before but personally it doesn't bother me too much. It's kind of flattering in a way.

I don't think those here who have used other people's illustrations are claiming it is their own work. I don't think the members in this forum are under the illusion that it is either. In fact, some other members have enquired about the origins and artists of some of the images. that seems kinda messed up to me... i think if you're gonna have a contest for a cover... you should only use artwork that's credited as professional promotional pieces from eidos OR your own work ONLY. otherwise you're using someone else's amateur work to win your contest... they worked hard on their stuff and they're extremely talented. now you're just coming in and taking it. doesn't seem very fair to me. if... hypothetically... they came on this forum and wanted to use their work in their submission, they can't. why? cause you used it already. :/ this has happened to me, so i know the feeling.

Amazing Kiss-Bite, It's even better than before.. One question though: Why didn't you use the Classic outfit from Legend instead of the Legend outfit. You’ve done a great job, but it would be even better if you had used that outfit and mixed that.

That's because that's the layout of the original Tomb Raider cover! He just changed the faces and figures (and updated them, Legend style), which is fine in my opinion.
