We all know that basic TR1 enemies were animals and other creatures, and very few humans-Larson,Piere... Will CD leave it like that? I mean Legend was full with human opponents and combat was OK when you fight them, but fighting with animals in Legend was worse that it was in past TR games. So, i would say that CD has to improve Laras skills when encountering non human enemies (bring back the proper sideways flip :) ). And it would be cool to make a final fight with the boss (one who hatches from an egg) not so shalow. I think that God of War has something like that. I have never played it but I saw videos where you need to press accurate buttons to perform certain actions. Something like Legend cut scenes but better and more challenging. I know that it's not so Tomb Raiderish but give me your opinios - maybe some of us would love to see that!? :tmb:

Well, let me put it this way. If the Lost Valley and Atlantis contain a Single mercenary then I'll scream!

Keep the animals, ditch the mercs, give us the Atlantean mutants :tmb:

I would expect and actually enjoy more Natla henchmen. But like you said Mercs in Lost Valley would make me crazy. I would enjoy more local wildlife not found in the original like giant bugs and spiders or even lizards, snakes, just more varitiy!

I hope CD can make the animals as feirce as they were in TR1. The legend animals were slow, clumsy things that were easy as hell to just run past. And I'd like to see the variety of animals TR1 had, not just big cats and some dogs.

You're right...it does.

Finshing off foes using button prompts rather than standard slashing gives the gamer extra bonuses.

Suppose such a feature could work in TR, but only for bosses.

Oh boy, I just had a thought. What if we enter the Lost Valley aroused by the shiny (but not hint style shiny) graphics, eagely approaching the spot where all your Tomb Raider dreams will come true. You take a deep breath, you hit the trigger point...and there it is. A GIANT LEGEND STYLE MERC WALKING AROUND IN CIRLCES POINTING HIS GUN AT NOWHERE!!! *Faints*

To be honest, Natla's Mines was a bit empty, so I would'nt mind a couples of guards, before the 4 fights against Natla's men.

I agree about the fighting style. Legend's was a bit restrictive. It was OK for moving sideways and not losing track of your oponent, but I still prefer the old one with the crazy twisted jumps and all. And when you get your enemies in your sight, you still keep firing at them and hitting them ever if they're very far away.

As for interactive scene, I really don't care if they make a come back. But if they do, they need to be less fixed and more random.

Oh and for the final boss, I hope they keep it the way it was. Up to the first three games, the final fights were always great. But in TR4 where you you had to climb up instead of fighting  and AOD was probably the lamest boss fights , so they should keep the final fight the way it was.

I had that very fear when CD's TR:AE was first announced! I even made a cartoon about it!! (http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showpost.php?p=1043844&postcount=13)

Yeah, they could add some nocturnal creatures in Natla's Mines, maybe some smaller atlantians
