What Is Tr: Anniversary?!

Might sound like a stupid question but from what Iv'e read about TR:Anniversary I am unclear what it is 'officially'.... is it a remake of the first game or are they remaking TR 1 and 2 (think that would be amazing) they were by far the best 2 games until Legend... Or is it just certain levels from every adventure which sounds ok but think it would feel very disjointed... Sorry if this has been covered but from what Iv'e read so far I havent been able to clarify this. Thanks

It is unclear to us what tr:ae is exactly.
Theres speculation that its a remake of Tomb Raider 1 and 2 but this has yet to be made official.
It could be quite the opposite.
We should find out soon though. :p

Thanks for your hasty response, its much appreciated. I will be very happy with a remake of the original Tomb Raider but would be overwhelmed if they released Anniversary Edition as a remake of both TR1 and TR2.... would certainly make it worth buying and be such a joy to play... I hate getting this excited cos I know Iv'e got such a long time to wait lol.
