IM ANXIOUS I WANT TO SEE MORE PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cln: :cln: :cln: OR OFFICIAL SITE OPEN!
I think we will get some new media on the date of the original realease !! whenever in novemeber that was !!
I don't think its very healthy for a game at all if media for it is released too early. Because then the fans and the public start pressurising developers into releasing it early. I don't want to end up with a media overkill "Legend" style. So I'm happy to wait, although I am looking forward to seeing what will come our way when its ready. :)
I definately think we'll get something/anything before the next 2 weeks are over.
But what I predict, is that we'll see different angles, closeups and background pans or other versions of the same basic shot, rather than each piece of media being something completely new and revealing about locations, characters, weapons, plot etc...
I can't wait to see some new stuff, especially some new screens or a video!

I eagerly await a demo because I want to see how the controls are, and how detailed and explorable the environments are. I won't be able to tell that just from screenshots, and probably not from trailers either. I'm hoping that the game will be at least 15-20 hours long, so a 20 minute demo showing part of one of the first levels wouldn't ruin much.
I'm just interested to see the "New" Lara Croft

I think they should- they really should, because she's always changed appearence slightly / updated for each game (exception TR5).
I want to see a trailer like the Core one, about the same length and coverage. And that's it.
From that I'll be able to decide whether it's a "reserve a copy now!!" or buy at reduced price...
With me knowing so much from the original TR1 already, I don't want any more "spoiling" beyond seeing the trailer. I want some surprises left. :D

Yes. They should. Start with the hair. From the back her hair looks great so far, but the braid needs to be longer, like TR2-3 long.

i think she looks great the way she is... sure, shes not a dark tr4/5/6 lara... but she embodies the pure adventurous tr1,2 and 3 lara for me. they only need to work on fixing her lipgloss, eyelashes and orange hair in the next gen version :D

Yes. her face looked good in Legend, but a bit young. i'm hoping for a more mature Lara this time.
One thing I wish they'd get rid of is those cut-out bits at the side of her green top, that look like a really highly cut swimsuit. I never liked them in TR4 but now that the graphics are more detailed, I really don't like them. :D

Same here
Don't really care about the hair or seeing her face. We follow lara during gameplay, so the part I see most of her is her rearend anyways! :p I just wanna see more environments and how they might be different than the original. :tmb:

Don't worry about that. The iDVD model is AOD Lara, Crystal Dynamics' model will probably be a modified Legend Lara.

That "green top" is actually supposed to be a leotard. Which is why they have cut-out bits. :p

I guess I can pipe in on the shirt too. The IDEA was that the shirt being a leotard or snap crotch would keep the shirt from popping out of her pants and flapping around loose. But it does LOOK weird seeing her hips when she has a shirt and shorts on, so I agree, not a nice look. I guess it was just another way to give us guys some skin and try to make lara sexier. :rolleyes:
Well she has had the same top in all the games that had the classic outfit, the only difference is the shorts are shrinking, so its a bit late now to decide you do not like the top

dont 4get ppl....if this is anything like the way legend was (which im sure we are all hoping it will NOT be) then any ExCeLLeNt stuff we see over the next few months in trailers and pics, wont actually be in the final version of the game.... lol just remeber that...im still sore from when the happend with legend!

Thank you everyone.;) I've created a new wallpaper depicting the underground sphinx along with some atlanteans which was in 'Sanctuary of the Scion' level.:D This level could look amazing in the TR Anniversary game!:jmp: I've tried to create an impression of what it could maybe look like.:) I'll post some more soon!

For those that liked the Lost Valley, this is Kissbite's Underground Sphinx, equally great. It's so good to finally have design of the first game with updated visuals, and even better to know that we'll actually get graphics this good with the final product. Seeing these really makes me want to see more from Crystal Dynamics, to see all the sections and how they've been redesigned. It won't be long now.
Even though some people have already discounted this game because of their opinion of Legend, I'm still optimistic and excited.
i want to see, pictures of the new game,.. but not from the game itself, but the wallpapers like,.. just her possing,.. artworks i think its called ,.. am i right?...

EIDOS and CD are being smart, I think they think they let out to much info for TR:L. So now they are being safe with TR:AE.
I think it's better if they do that 'cause I remembered those frenzy days of us getting loads and loads of media and darn it did it drive us crazy. Now I suppose, they are being smart in keeping it hush hush:D

St. Francis' Folly would look amazing with Legend-esque visuals.:D However, TR1 had so many stunning levels it's hard to pick which ones would be great to see some screens of.:)

Nah, i'd actually say show us some screens but no videos because the videos usually ruin it for me.
Showing the screenshots gets me anxious about the game. :D

Some times it's nice to go into a game with as little info as possible. I did that with RE4 and Primal. It was like going in unprepared so I was pleasantly surprised and amazed by what the games offered since I'd had little idea what to expect in the first place.
I'm considering going cold turkey on TR:AE screenshots and spoiler info till the release. Might drive me crazy though...
