A balcony too far ?

On the Bartolis hideout level, before using the balcony to go forward. You have to kill a thug from the balcony pictured below, on the opposite side of the balcony(behind Lara), not shown in the picture. The thug drops an item, but i have never been able to get over there to the thugs balcony.

Out of interest, Is there a way ?

I think you're talking about the balcony with Stone Dragon on it. There's a hidden switch in the room with the two huge doors. The room where you have to break the glass to get to the other side of the doors.

If I'm not mistaken the stone dragon is on the balcony to Laras right...I tried to get on that balcony to and I don't think there's a way....

Of course there's a way to get it. If you get all the dragons, there's a bonus level.

There isn't a bonus level in TR2.

Sheesh, posting too late at night. But part of my point remains - they didn't create secrets that you couldn't get, since you get bonus items (ammo or weapons) if you find all three secrets in a level (jade, silver and gold dragon statues). (Due to dying brain cells, I verified the above at Stella's site.)
