take a look at this mate..

http://www.glidos.net/install.html?lang=en when I try combining Glidos with my Tomb Raider file it says that its the worng Tomb raider.exe, and the game isn't actually installed on my computer I can only play it when I press on Tomb Raider on the CD. And now it thinks its installed on my computer and I have no idea how to "uinstall" It. :( Oh ya, and theres no sound. :) If you need to know Im using the Sold Out version.

danitiwa, unfortunately, you can't install TR1 like you do with the other games. It's an old game and there are problems with Windows XP/ 2000. Go to this page (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/windowsxp2.html), scroll to the bottom (to the TR1 section) and download 2 things:

Tomb Raider I Installer
Tomb Raider I Sound (it is also called VDM Sound)Now go to this page (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/faq/tr1.html). Scroll down a bit, to the part "Installing the game". Follow the instructions.

(During the installation, select "I would like to use dgVoodoo". This will help you see better graphics.)

I will move this thread to the Tech Support forum. If you have problems, post back and someone will help you.

I've installed everything but when I press tombub in my Tombraid file. It says server not present. :( :(

You did not follow the instructions exactly.

TOMBUB is Unfinshed Business. To launch it, you must doubleclick the Tombub (Glide) icon on your desktop. That is assuming you have installed the game the correct way. If you have an ATI card, you should have 2 icons on desktop.

I suggest you read the instructions again. TR1 FAQ (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/faq/tr1.html)

I've tried Glidos, but theres this big word:Glidos turning on my screen that way AND there's no sound. I've tried the Voodoo thing but that wont even let the game run! :( WHAT DO I DO???

Danitiwa, why don't you you just follow the guide here?..it's easier than the one on tombraiderchronicles, and everything worked fine first time for me,although mine is the Premier Collection(Gold) Edition, which had all the music and sound, whereas the sold out version didn't..

Danitwa, DgVoodoo can get running on all PC's. So let's look at your system. Please click on following link Diagnose.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/diagnose.exe) select to RUN it, then post the complete results into your next reply. :)
