I was just reading thru the ian livingston interview tlr posted earlier and eidos really missed a chance to rack in some bucks! :eek:

GS: You say you turn down a big number of merchandising proposals for Lara, can you give me an example of something that sticks in your mind?

IL: There was one for, popsicles, is that what you call them? Anyway, whatever they're called, there was a proposal for something called Lick A Lara Lolly.

Duh! Classic Lara lollies would be 'licky' and Legend Lara lollies would be 'sucky.' Naturally. The difference between them being, that Legend Lara Lollies would reveal ( 5 hrs of eating, and 4 hrs of brain-freeze later) the ol' joke-on-a-stick gimmick. Buried as reward for your 'sucky' efforts. Complete with it's own pointless punchline.

The next thing that could happen, is that they could sell those funny pens you can buy at the seaside. Great market for the 'mature audience'.
