I have been using AVG Anti-Virus program for a while now and it seems that starting January 15, 2007 they will be going commercial and AVG 7.1 will be dicontinued and AVG 7.5 will be available for purchase. I hate purchasing anti-virus programs because you need to get a new one every year and it's a waste of money. Does anyone know any other really good free anti-virus programs out there?

Oh, but will it still be updatable? I knew there was a payable and free version but from what I understand the free version's not going to be updatable anymore. Am I wrong?

Yeah you can update it, just not automatically as far as I am aware.

Oh, okay then. If I can still use it I'll stick to it. Thanks for clearing that up.
