While playing trle custom levels or tr 4 (trle) , Everytime I take my guns out to shoot, the game studders up!

It doesn't freeze, It just goes like slow motion which is really annoying.

What should I do to stop trle from studdering up everytime I come to a combat?

You also say "tr4". Does this mean The Last Revelation? Anyway, if this happens with all custom levels you play, it has to do with your PC (I mean it's a technical problem). What are you PC's specs?

When I say tr4, I mean tr4 the one that comes with trle.. I doubt its really because of my pc though, Im really not sure.. I just want to get this fixed so i dont have to play in combat with sruddering. :(

Edit: Ill be back in 10 minutes

Would playing in a smaller res. setting help? I don't know anything about computers, but a smaller res setting makes odd sense to me.

Check you are not running anything else in the background. Ie make sure any programmes you have been recently using are not open or minimised, in other words exit or quit any open programs, esp winroomedit.
Another cause of this is programs like Kazaa running in background. Most, even old computers can deal quite happily with tomb raider.

That doesn't work. It stil down it. :( :( :(

Does this happen on custom levels too? And has it always happened in TR: The Last Revelation? ever since you installed?
If so, it is probably a compatability issue somewhere, like ELEN said :)

I never played any Tomb raiders on pc. But when I first installed trle, It was like this for trle and custom levels..

I am moving this to the Technical Forum as this is a computer problem.
The resident genius (Joseph) will probably be able to give you more help.

Your graphic card's drivers are far outdated. Download

ForceWare Release 90
Version: 93.71
Release Date: November 2, 2006
WHQL Certified

from HERE (http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html).

Driver Installation Hints

"Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.
Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.
Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.
