Hello,

I just bought the Tomb Raider Trilogy and want to play the games on my XP-powered PC. I was looking at the pinned FAQ websites but the FAQ's for the games, including installing with a patch, all come up as unavailable. Can anyone walk me through this? Do I install the games first, then the patches? Do I need to install anything special before the games?

Any help would be great.

All you need is here :-

www.tombraiderhub.com

We also have a single installer (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/vista/patch.html) that patches TR2,3,4 and 5

Welcome to the forums VerityCarlisle :wve:

VerityCarlisle,

Have you tried all the links?

Even if you can't get to the HUb at the moment, try downloading the patch (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/vista/patch.html). It's about 2.3MB

He, he... we just pretend we know everything so we look important down here and then maybe, just maybe, the TRF administration is gonna move us to the upper floors.

Just kidding :)

Hey LI :wve: I need a torch, too dark down here.
What I know about tech stuff you can carve on an aspro with an ice pick, far better to leave it to the clever dudes :tmb: http://bestsmileys.com/computer1/24.gif

Ah, we're used to it. We can see in the dark... who wouldn't after spending so much time down here. Our eyes are even glowing.

I installed TRIII, and then the multi patch, and ran the patch to update it and the game sill crashes when I try to start it up. What am I doing wrong?

How are you trying to start it? Or where, using the Autorun? You cannot use the Autorun menu to play the game.

Verity: Always quit the autorun menu. Always start the game from Start > All Programs > Core design > TR 3 Play shortcut. :)

Hi Drewy. :wve:

I was using start>programs>etc. But I didn't have the right resolution selected! I got it to work, finally, thanks for all your help. TR1 still won't work but that's for another day. Thank you again.

Ahh.. good to hear, Verity! :tmb: We'll get TR1 to work fine as well, trust me. Start a new thread tomorrow then. :wve:
