Sound problems, plz help

Just started playing TR1, but having a little problem. All sound and music in the game work fine also in the FMV´s, except in dialoge.
In case you don´t know where I am talking about: Just b4 the FMV´s, Lara talk to Larson BUT no sound on my comp. I have a SB 1024 Value. I have let it autodetect and the test works fine.
PLZ help

You just need to turn up the music setting in the sound options menu. Then you'll hear them talking and get backround sound effects. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Can you play CD tracks on your computer? I mean, with the CD player? Try going into the sound options in Windows and seeing if the CD music is turned off or turned down.
If that fails, there may even be a wire missing which connects your CD drive and your soundcard... but that's unlikely.

I found the solution. When u have 2 CD-drives and the audiowire is connected to the the slavedrive, it wont play CD-audio in games. Change the CD-drive to Master and.....
IT ALL WORKS!
