Fascinating news ... I especially love this line:
As a visual spectacle, it's like something from another planet
Makes me think that even the forms of life that we know of are so extraordinarily diverse, extraterrestrial life may well be beyond our imaginations!
That shouldn't stop us from trying to imagine it, however! :D

That shouldn't stop us from trying to imagine it, however! :D

Ditto :D.

Life is so diverse and always surprising us with its ability to adapt to the 'impossible'. Suddenly it becomes a question of not is there life elsewhere in the universe, but where is it hiding?

Life elsewhere in the universe has every right to hide from us. :D We're hiding from everybody else. Maybe they are having the same discussion about whether or not there is life elsewhere in the universe.
